Parola school offers combined Italian language courses that include group Italian language classes (morning session) and individual language lessons (afternoon session) to help improve the student’s language command with intensive lessons

In this type of language program, students will learn Italian in a group course and enhance their Italian in a one-on-one session, reviewing grammar, expanding vocabulary and improving fluency.

Please note, the cultural portion of the classes listed above is generally an individual area of study. However, these courses are also available to groups of at least 3 people. In the case that a small, two-student group asks for a combined class, a special course will be arranged through Parola School.

A TEMPO COURSE

3 days a week (Monday – Wednesday – Friday)

2 hours of group conversation in the morning + a 1-hour individual lesson in the afternoon three times a week (particularly useful for reviewing grammar) for a total of 30 hours of lessons over a two-week period.

With this course, we offer hours of cultural and recreational activities in Florence for free.

Program

3 days a week (Monday – Wednesday – Friday: 2 hours conversation in a group + 1-hour grammar lesson, one-on-one, 3 times a week).

Course Benefits

This course program is tailored to learning Italian grammar proficiency and the practice of speaking Italian in a non-intensive course.

ALLEGRETTO COURSE

4 hours of group classes each weekday plus 3 hours of individual lessons per week for a total of 92 hours over the course of 4 weeks. 

With this course, we offer hours of cultural and recreational activities in Florence for free.

The 3 hours of one-on-one lessons in the afternoon can be used to improve grammar and focus on the specific needs of the student.

Program

5 days a week (Monday – Friday):

2 hours grammar as a group + 2 hours group conversation

3 days a week:

1-hour individual grammar lesson

Course Benefits

This combined course is usually a good solution for students looking to improve quickly, due to the additional one-on-one lessons.

The Allegretto course program greatly expands  students’ vocabulary, as well.

VIVACE COURSE

4 hours of group lessons + a 1-hour individual lesson per day equals 100 hours of lessons in 4 weeks.

The Vivace course program combines the positive nature of group learning with daily individual lessons to recap what the student learned in the morning. This is useful for students who seek extra practice in their Italian grammar, vocabulary expansion, and adult learners. Choosing this course helps students cover more of the Italian language in a brief time period.

PRESTO COURSE

4 morning hours in a group class and 2 hours of individual lessons per day for a total of 120 hours of lessons over the course of 4 weeks. 

With this course, we offer hours of cultural and recreational activities in Florence for free.

This combined language course is designed for intensive study. In the Presto course program, students focus on grammar, conversation, and vocabulary, both individually and in a group setting.

The course is designed for students who want to study extensively each day to learn Italian in the least amount of time possible.

Italian and Cooking – 56 hours over 4 weeks

2 morning hours of Italian grammar every weekday + 2 individual hours of cooking lessons, twice a week in a cooking school affiliated with Parola school. 

With our Italian and cooking course, we offer hours of cultural and recreational activities in Florence for free.

Italian and Drawing – 48 hours over 4 weeks

2 morning hours of Italian grammar every weekday + 1 individual hour of drawing lessons at a painter’s workshop near our school, twice a week.

With our Italian and drawing course, we offer hours of cultural and recreational activities in Florence for free.

Italian and Painting – 56 hours over 4 weeks

2 morning hours of Italian grammar every weekday (from Monday to Friday) + 2 individual hours of painting lessons at a painter’s workshop near the school, twice a week.
